Domenico Alcide and Liliana Leali’s adventure began in 2006 when they founded Lefay Resorts with the intention of creating Eco-Resorts powered by clean and renewable energy sources with a strong commitment to environmental protection and with the ambition to become an Italian landmark for luxury wellness holidays.
This is how Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda was born in Gargnano in 2008 and Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti together with the Lefay Wellness Residences project in 2019, a ‘new way of enjoying a holiday’, which allows guests to experience the familiarity of a luxury home and at the same time enjoy all the services of a Resort.
In just a few years, Lefay Resorts have been honored with the most important international awards in the Hospitality and Wellness sector. Lefay Spa received the prestigious “Being Organic and Ecological SPA” Excellence level certification for the high quality of the natural treatments offered and for the sustainable management of the facilities.
Lefay Spa Method is based on the principle of awareness and change, which combines the basic teachings of Classical Chinese Medicine with the results of Western scientific research in order to achieve full balance between body, mind and spirit. Human well-being goes hand in hand with the well-being and respect for the environment: two essential aspects for the Lefay Hospitalty concept. It is no coincidence that the Lefay Spa Academy was born, which in June 2023 will begin its courses to train excellent professionals in holistic wellness in Luxury Hospitality.
The same attention is given to cuisine, in which an ethical attitude is pursued that enhances what nature spontaneously offers: the recent release of the prestigious guide ‘Ristoranti d’Italia 2023’ by Gambero Rosso, which rewards both Gramen and Grual, the two iconic gourmet restaurants of Lefay Garda Hotel and Lefay Dolomiti, with the ‘Two forks’, is symbol of high quality. But that’s not all, the vegetable menu ‘For Agros’ created by Chef Matteo Meanza and inspired by the Therapeutic Energy Garden and its herbs, received the award as “Best vegetarian proposal”.
The evolution of the Lefay Concept will not stop. In Crans-Montana, in partnership with Aminona Luxury Resort and Village, Lefay has been selected among several international brands for the management of their luxury Spa Resort according to the innovative principle of management contract: a new opening in a very prestigious place that cannot than to make the CEO, Alcide Leali, proud, to whom we of Vegan Suite can only give our best compliments.
Recent news also informs us that Lefay Resorts have been confirmed as Green Globe Members 2023, the highest standard certification for sustainability worldwide.
