Borgobrufa Spa Resort – a 40,000 m² village in the Umbrian countryside not far from Perugia – is born from a Sfascia family’s dream to transform since 1997 a farm with four old farmhouses into prestigious rooms and suites, which have increased over time with the renovation of an 18th century noble Villa and the construction of a Finnish-inspired 3000 m² Spa, the largest in Umbria.

Wellbeing is the soul of this five-star Hotel: the vineyards, the olive groves and a luxuriant nature are the main ingredients, which act as a source for all the numerous high-quality treatments offered based on local oil, wine and chocolate, and natural cosmetics from Borgobrufa crops, grown with passion by the owner with his team of experts.

The Resort is dedicated to an adult public, which can also take advantage of a Private Spa with four personalized treatments for couples: Treasures of the village, Water and flowers, The Thousand and One Nights and Source of Nature with highly qualified staff and with the possibility to taste the territory excellence.

Chef Andrea Impero – after a series of valuable experiences with Michelin-starred chefs in Italy and abroad – accepted the invitation to manage the two Borgobrufa Spa Resort restaurants according to the Umbrian tradition but also with a touch of personal creativity: the ‘Quattro sensi’ restaurant – with a unique panorama of the surrounding countryside – and the more selective Gourmet restaurant ‘Elementi Fine Dining’, awarded again this year for the second time with two Gambero Rosso Forks, in which the essence of each ingredient is exalted.

To preserve high quality standards, the Sfascia family has joined the ‘Campagna Amica’ Coldiretti project, which aims at the circulation of seasonal, 100% organic products grown in Italy at km 0.
