Altatto

Date

Altatto was born from the idea of three Chefs whose paths crossed in the gourmet and starred vegetarian restaurant, Pietro Leemann’s Joia, the temple of Milanese pioneering cuisine in the use of exclusively plant-based products.

From here Sara, Cinzia and Giulia set off and decided to create their own project offering a vegetarian and vegan haute gastronomic experience for major events.

Thus Altatto was born.

The restaurant presents itself as a place with essential features and soft tones ready to welcome a curious clientele to savor the entire variety of flavors, colors and textures offered by Nature. Inside Altatto Bistrot you can enjoy tasting itineraries and aperitifs, but also private events and catering services are offered. These last ones are created thanks to an open dialogue with clients mostly from the world of fashion, tourism and economy by adapting the ‘vegetable’ identity to the style and the concept required.

At the base there is love for Nature and its products, behind which people, skills and traditions are hidden. What must be preserved for the owners are the skills and the production techniques, respectful of the territory. The same producing the ‘bases’ for the Chef’s expressiveness.

A sign of our times is indeed the link between cuisine and producers, which leads to the study of raw materials and local traditions in order to transcend them by offering something new.

Here lies the genius of a Chef: ‘to find something interesting to tell’, as Sara, Cinzia and Giulia suggest.

Giulia in the meantime has created his own new project and is no longer part of Altatto…

Origin and seasonality, artisanship and sustainability always remain the essential ingredients from which every choice starts. The result is a genuine cuisine, whose taste is preserved and enhanced.

An attitude of our age, of a new generations in love with nature and with ‘fresh and fragrant food’.
